I. Pure run Route

Chrome Gadget's pure-run is the only one in which there's a time enhancement involved (we can call it half-enhancement). It's something so important for the game that this has to be included in the Pure run.
But let's begin in some order. After the start, you just have to begin running. Come to the platform but do not stop your run. The point is your character will run immediately when he can. You'll fall directly onto the fans and will be brought up. Make jump over the button and two bouncers and then another one over the u-ramp. Here we come to the above mentioned time enhancement. When you get bounced from the first on-wall bouncer, release 'right' on your D-button and press it again after you're bounced for the second time. You won't fall down through and loose all your speed this way (notice the difference on the screenshots below). Your laps will take up to 8"00 seconds (the first is approximately +0"40 longer) so your total time should be around 40"00.

II. Route A1-F1 flown

In the first lap, do the spindash to save your -0"40 you've lost in the pure-run (F1). Subsequently you'll be stopped by the wall and here comes the A1 time enhancement - on the elevator, do the spindash again, but to the left. This allows you to leave the lift sooner and though you'll have to wait while you'll bounce, it's much quicker. There are two possible scenarios of the bounce. The more common and faster one is that you'll be bounced onto the ground and run to the fans. Other way, if you'll leave the lift a bit later, you'll be bounced back and will be stopped by the wall (or worse by the edge of the elevator so you'll be killed if you leave the elevator very late) and fall down. Now jump over the fans. A1 time enhancement saves -1"20. Then, when you're at the top of the fanned air, jump and press jump button two more times so your character (Tails) will fly (just one press of A/B/C in the air is needed to start flying, but pressing it twice here leads to better result since pressing A/B/C during the flight makes your character fly upwards) all over the place and land in the pipe leading to on-wall bouncers. Here, make the same 'release D' half-enhancement as in pure-run.
Altogether, first lap time will be improved to 6"30 (-2"00) and common lap to 6"25 (-1"75). Total time of 31"00 represents an improvement of -9"00.

III. Route A2-F1 flown

This time enhancement (A2) requires the first mentioned version of A1. Do not make spindash on the lift too fast, press jump only couple of times (four times should make it). Then jump after you land on the ground (try braking if you think you're too fast - it doesn't affect your time heavily. In fact, it doesn't affect it at all up to this point - you get the time lost by braking by the faster spindash). But this gets you up so you don't have to wait for the fans too long. This spares (-0"20) per lap and improves your time to 30"00.

IV. Route A1-F1

This route proves the mistake many players make on this track. The majority of players use Sonic for the first time they play track. However, Sonic cannot make the jump from over the button and two bouncers. So, smart players begin to use Tails because of his flying ability. But...the greatest gamers use Tails not beacuse of this, but because of his capability of long-jumping. So forget about flying; do not fly! Instead of it, make two fast jumps - the first is mentioned above, then the second one over the u-ramp. Thsi A1-F1 route does not include A2 time enhacement. It's (-0"05) per lap faster anyway - so the total time fluctuate around 29"75.

V. Route A2-F1

Adds well-known A2 time enhancement. Raises average lap time to 5"65 (-0"30).

Optiming Route A2-F1

Optimized.
There are no ideas how to make this route (if only) a bit faster. All we can do is play it again and again because there's still a lot of place for our improvements.
