Sonic Unleashed timer stop and other glitches

this happened to me few times. If you hit help ring and boost platform at same time it can result in stopping the timer.

Sorry the video is short because i noticed this after recording.

Also i found ring path glitch. Pressing Y before ring path can result in interesting high jumps or loop skip.

Have not tested this in other stages but i hope there are some ppl that do.

Not sure how that first one worked (Since hitting the help icon stop all movement.) but that will only work on WID2 since that's the only level with a quick-time event next to a help icon.

As for the Light-Dash thing, the first one isn't a glitch but because of how the rings are placed.
The second one is a glitch though, but also pointless.

now you can see how to do it.
you need to hold right-up direction and light dash at 4th ring. And dont turn off that screen message untill next checkpoint. From unknown reason the timer start counting again.

I'd like to have questioning over whether or not a rule should be implemented on the glitch shown in the first youtube link. Considering that you could stop the timer and get an insane time, should this be allowed?
Arguement[Against Rule Implementing]: It's a glitch, and many glitches are done to improve the initial Time Attack record to get the fastest time for that specific level. Think about SA2, with the Cannon's Core Time Stop glitches. This is abusing the game's Timer-Stopping function, and a similar event happens here.
I cannot think of a valid arguement for rule implementing, as all of my arguements for it are completely opinionated and have little to no logic backing it up.
Note: Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this type of post(can't think of proper wording :/), I am relatively new to the forums. Advice would be nice as to if this is correct to post this here, or take it up with a Higher-Up/Leaderboard Disputes. Please and thanks(totally freakin' off topic; I suck at forum-posting, lol)

The only banned Time-Stop is TBG in Heroes, because it voids competition due to how it's done.  In general, Time-Stop glitches are allowed (S3K, Knux in Sonic's path in LB2, for example, or SA's IC-S Time-Stop.  Time-Stop isn't banned in SA2, either, the only thing banned in Cannon's Core is skipping characters for a lower time.(Which is what the Cannon's Core Freestyle chart is for)/(SM's run, current record, uses the DD-Time-Stop bug, according to the vid of it.)

So no, no rule should be made, and it's completely legal based on current mindset of the community.

Yeah, same thing for SA2 in Sand Ocean. I see that there shouldn't be a rule for this. Sorry about that -_-' Lol. I just like to have fair competition and such, and if I see that a rule might need to be implemented, I make a suggestion.[Completely off topic again :/

Superspeed glitch

Here are few takes of how fast can Hedgehog engine go.

Works in every 2D section especially in full 2D levels.

When hitting the boosting object (rail, dash panel etc...) HOLD UP + B. When reaching certain speed just jump and...... You need to hold UP on directional pad whole time while performing this. Holding the Down can be used for slowing down the effect and succesful landings .
