Debug is banned as a general rule (alteration of the game).  So is direct manipulation of tails (in S+T runs), even if by a single person, even if it's before a run, as I understand it to be. (I may have used a state that set something like this up, but I've never done it myself, should a rules revision occur I'll gladly take down any offending stats.)

The fact that trick points don't reset is a technicality based on the fact that the points aren't awarded, and the way our scores work still gives them to the current run, because they aren't awarded until the run is complete.  a loophole, if you will, that's been generally allowed because it makes SAing Rush a lot easier of the DS, and if I remember correctly, it was by popular decision of those involved at the time that such a judgement was made.  In theory, the max scores with and without it are the same, and take just as much skill either way, without having as much bs spamming to do during the entire run.  I'm not specifically sure, though, as I wasn't involved, only overheard it.

I thought that too Aita until this came up: http://www.soniccenter.org/forum/index.php?topic=4646.msg50353#msg50353

After I saw that I noticed everyone else seemed to have the same attitude too, which I thought was kinda weird, and why I believe we need an actual stance on it.

I think it's silly that the charts on TSC aren't consistent at all with each other and really something should be done it >_>

Anyway I looked into SPA for werster and yeah Cosmic Casino has five slot machines in act 1 and six in act 2 in case anyone did want to go for the ring charts on S2's Casino Night. Also I checked Last Utopia and yes it tracks rings and scores, but there are no charts available for them. Also Chaotic Space does the same too. The act loops and looks like Doomsday. You're in Super Sonic form and there's a time limit, plus bonuses at the end. Also no charts avaliable for them too. As for SPA bosses there are at the end of act 2 so are part of the level and not separate.

Reading through the first post, I agree with everything werster said. I remember thinking why wasn't Casino Street 1 from S4 had a score chart added, since I believe some skill is needed.

Thanks for that FF, I edited the changes into the first post. Last Utopia score charts look like they'd be damn hard to do well...

Also add to that list Colours DS bosses. AC and SC have respawning rings, but all have a time limit. Although the argument against those was that they were a doubled up time chart.

The bosses on the site have actual names, I'm assuming Orcan and Skullian are AC and SC boss?

Also rings respawning under a time limit, can you get 999? Cause if so that'd have to be a different category to Doomsday etc

Scores/Rings: No limit except a time limit.
Yeah, 999 rings on these levels, sure. They get maxed out by scalping. But that suddenly doesn't mean scores do. In the case of Casino Night, max scores would require getting every ring in the level anyway and a fair bit of comboing. Casino Street would involve scalping to a non-limitable score under a time limit, which we allow in several other cases.

Games effected:

Sonic 2 - Casino Night 1, Casino Night 2
Current Status: No charts on site.

Sonic 4 - Casino Street 1
Current Status: No charts on site.

Sonic Pocket Adventure - Cosmic Casino 1, Cosmic Casino 2
Current Status: No charts on site.
Could it be that you forgot Sonic Heroes Casino Park and Bingo Highway Extra Missions.

No, Sonic Heroes does not have a time limit and as such the levels can just be played forever until 999 is reached.

Yes it is.

No. There aren't nearly enough rings to get 999

Whoops, I forgot to mention that you only should add charts for Team Sonic, at Casino Park Extra Mission, they only have 5 minutes and at Bingo Highway, you have 6 mins.

It seems kinda ridiculous to me to do that, making charts for a level where all but one very specific type are unchartable. But that's just my opinion, I'll add them up.
