^So... you gave us a key input file... without the game it goes to. Infallible logic, right there.

I'll say it again, just like I did in your hack's topic: TEST IT BEFORE YOU POST IT.
<RPGnutter> Well I think your reasoning was dumb, so you get sassed
<RPGnutter> Thats how it works

Just a few more videos of mine. I'll probably make a giz of all my times but I'll only post the ones that are good/get told to. Also note that in MG1 there is quite a bit of pausing :(

Ok so I've found a new glitch in Marble Garden. I think there is more potential with this glitch but here is a preview of what I think can be done.

Over two years later i thought this might have a use in the SS. Putting up the whole thing with Knux now, someone please crack this with tails, PLEASE

Whoa, whoa, hold up, bro. Let me get this straight.

You were on and on last night on #soniccenter talking up a storm, saying that one or more of my rings stats could have been pwned, because of a flashy, yet minor corollary of something I found about a year ago?

I hate to be captain obvious, but 999 can't really be beaten just because you found three more rings to pick up by being in act 2.

You also told me in chat yesterday that you couldn't locate where you were after that rise. You said it was a new stretch of area that was independent of either act. That's Act 2 showing through, I can tell by the smasher and the three rings afterward. I've stared at that section of the screen for ten years. This is the area in which I wait for about half a minute with my spinning top to push high enough through the ceiling. It's not a new piece of a level or anything of the sort. >_>

And as for clearing MG2 in that short a time, you might want to refer to Icecap 2. A similar approach had already been banned. Also note that the competition rules say you can't start an act anywhere except for the entry from act 1 boss, or from level select.

Obligatory reference to the possibility that this may already have been discussed; if so then I get today's dunce hat.

This isn't a .giz, just something we may have potential with. LB2 K, with an IC1 S+T style glitch.

Attached to this post I have a triple treat of first-rate .gmv speedrun recordings and their respective savestates, that show me finishing AI2K in 36 seconds (only one second behind the tool-assisted-run record by Upthorn), HC2S in 0:28 and MG1T with 0:52 in real time.

are you using S3&K and gensmovie?

gens+ can't play .gmv files...  that might be your problem

Oh here we go. A huge improvement on this glitch, showing the most useable glitch i have found in this level to date. I have more bizzare glitches but with no use...of yet. Still working on this level, I'm sure more is to be had.

note: there is a fair bit of pausing :/, LB2K, and yeah you would need a pretty good map, i suggest if youre actually doing a ra like this, to get all the top rings, do this, then get the bottom rings.

Since I don't know exactly what your problem is, I'll just say this: You might need the latest Gens version (v.10a) to play them, even though it shouldn't be necessary.

P.S: I just tried to play them in Gens9.5b, and it doesn't work. Mainly because the new savestates are apparently incompatible with it, somehow...

OMG! A GIZ FROM DsS!?! >_>

Basically, it shows how to get to Sonic and Tails part of AI2 with Knuckles.  Useful if you want more rings in your AI1K or AI2K RA, though pulling it off is hell.  May look for an alternative method...

EDIT:  What you see in the giz takes place in AI2, after the backtrack.

306 rings in Flying Battery 2 as tails. this giz also had two glitches I wasn't expecting that made me think "how the fuck did that just happen"
pretty sure you can improve the sonic/knuckles stats with this too.

LOL, used to trip me up every once in a while in S3K Master Edition, but this is the first time I've seen this happening with plain old S3K.
Proud to discover a new glitch on Sandopolis 1 as Tails
