Although I'm probably far from it, I was wondering how you become a prominent member and who decides that you are one?  And also, who are the main members who run this site, cause this is truly an amazing site.(lovin' the chaos angel layout)?^_^

Er, becoming a Prominent Member seems to involve a discussion between all other Prominent Members when we feel like it.  Various people run stuffs, the ones that spring to mind are Rolken and F-Man (but that's because I'm secretly stalking them <_<).

Rolken's the main site runner, but a couple other people help. Mainly SadisticMystic who coded quite a few things, and then there's mike89 and I who are sorta lackeys (and RPGnutter? dunno). But hey! I coded the style sheet for the skins in CSS (nothing complicated) to make them more extensible and easily createable. Rolken then used that architecture to create Chaos Angel.

Psh, RPG is probably second-to-last on the list of people who are even going to get mods (next to CF). Besides, didn't we decide that you needed to be a King of n00bs or something to do that?

But yeah, the choosing of new Prominent Members/If I Had A Banhammer peeps is mostly among the consensus of currently existing ones. Putting several factors into effect, some of which relate to competition, but others go into effect too. But we can't give you those secrets. That'd make it too easy.

Besides, you don't want to become like CF and have to do something nigh impossible to get what you want. (In CF's case, mods.)

Rolken is main administrator and founder of TSC (what it is now)
SM is the old main administrator and founder of SA-Elite (what TSC was)
Sprint is just a general pwner and old admin.
mike is a forum admin and is now adding/editing new categories on TSC.
F-Man makes skins.
RPG is admin of TUSC.
I am admin of TMMC.

To be a Prominent Member, you just have to stick around a long time, get acquinted (competitively and socially) and lend a helping hand you get a chance.
