I managed to save the file.
9.5MB is a bit excessive for a 1:00 video, but there isn't much I can see done about it. H264 doesn't save any space, DivX saves about 1MB but drops to 5 frames per second some ways in, TSCC gives 122MB which is the uncompressed size, and WMV doesn't work because it only wants to render a 4:3 aspect, when it needs to be 3:2.
Such a fast-paced video, with 16 DTDs and an R-boost crammed into so little time, tends to do that.
