I'd have to say the AL boss from Sonic Rush. I've played that boss a lot and I really like its design and its attacks, it can crush you, shoot you, blow you off the stage and dive at you like a bird sweeping in and catching its prey. Taking on a giant metal bird basically, it's a really neat concept.

I would have to say the boss from the extra boss from sonic rush. i like how that boss design was and that the fact that it could make black holes during the fight made it even better

Egg Emperor because it's a ruthless dickhead that punishes you viciously if you don't fight it right, like a final boss should be, but at the same time can be dispatched very quickly if you know what you're doing and you're lucky.

Although I really want to say Egg Breaker for the meme-related lulz and because it can also punish you if you don't stay on your toes, especially the Pure Dark route version.

Not sure if it counts, but Robotnik's classic ship. It's iconic, and I love any boss which is merely an extension of it e.g. from Sonic 1 or Sonic CD.

Some of his bosses in the Advance games were pretty mental, I mean Egg Frog in Adv2 could reverse gravity, and Egg Pinball in Adv3 you had to play pinball against the fucker...
I agree with the Rush games having wicked bosses though
