...this topic has so much nonsense in it that for a second there, I thought I was going to collapse before I could finish reading it.
First of all, wersterlobe does not and cannot submit to TSC. If he uses TAS, it has absolutely no effect on us, except that it shows us a potential strategy for making runs that we can submit. Second of all, he's using a .gmv movie (key input) file because the easiest way to record a run for YouTube in a Genesis emulator is to use Gens Rerecording (formerly Gens Movie) or Gens+, which in turn allows one to play back a key input file and record it to an actual movie. Instead of making actual video of bad runs and eating up gigabytes of his hard drive, he creates smaller key input files, gets a good run, then plays the key input and records it to video.
I want an explanation as to why you're accusing him of TASing and what effect it has on you. If your explanation is "well the emulator is capable of it, so he must be doing it", then I'm going to start demanding proof of every stat you submit! It's only logical, right? I mean, you might just be posting random numbers and calling them stats instead of earning them the hard way! You're certainly capable of lying, so you must be doing it!
