Possibly one of the most appalling things I have ever read. A few months old, but still important because people must know about this.

http://clarkhoward.com/liveweb/shownotes/2009/05/20/15796/

If you know anyone that works at Wells Fargo, Bank of America, or Chase, send them this article. The original source is the Wall Street Journal. The worst part of this is that this is done without the employee's consent. Anyone who is appalled by this should stop doing any form of business with these banks.
There can be no other words: it's downright disgusting. And when you consider that these were some of the people who came running to the GVMT to get bailouts (read: "bonuses"), you get the idea that lives mean nothing to them. The policies should be dismantled.

No problem!

First off, ⑨'s real identity is Cirno, an ice fairy that originated in Touhou Koumakyou (aka The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil), for those who don't know. She's known for being a baka, which is where the nickname originates: In Touhou Kaeidzuka (Phantasmagoria of Flower View), the manual did a typical legends job where it places a number near something to explain it:

Notably, the Japanese next to Cirno's indicator, the ⑨, translates into "Moron". This is the origin of Cirno's nickname of ⑨.

Fandom (as huge as it is), also sometimes calls Reiuji Utsuho from Subterranean Animism "6" due to being another baka and because she's the boss of Stage 6. Like with this picture, she's called a "birdbrain" by another character in game.

All info is stuff from the Touhou wikia. Not sure if the "Moron" translates right: I know little about Japanese characters.

Question: For your speedruns, I'm curious: Do you use the background music as a form of time measurement during the run?

By the way, please make a S3DB speedrun. I really want new challengers and heights.

I already know who'd that be just from the clue...at least, I think I know.

Wasn't there one ring that was inside the "updraft" portion of the area that required a dive in order to reach? I know one stage had it, but I forgot which.

Here, have a map or something:

I love you for that map. You just solved a 4 year problem for me...now when I get back, it'll be time to scratch down more ring records.

This topic mentions that carrying over a shield from the first act of a zone for a Time Attack is legal, but what about doing the same for a Ring Attack?

I guess, even though it may be too late now, I have to pick up my controller again.

Hey, had to happen sooner or later. That plus I need a challenge.

Even though I've been calm and welcome about your posts and presence, even I must raise an eyebrow. It's more of me being concerned rather than me calling BS on your submissions.

Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2:
On the Highway 47 Cloverleaf, playing Wipeout almost always assures a hilarious hit, but one stands out in my book. While trying to get the highest score wiping out, I ran into a car on the bottom road. The thing had enough horsepower to rocket my biker clear through the air at about 50 mph, hitting an overpass at that speed...headfirst. This was followed by me falling to the ground after the hit and, unless I miss my guess, I got hit by a car with not as much power as the first. Needless to say, I replayed that moment tons of times.

Supercross 2000
Pluto gravity + High collision detection + Bikers block you code + No invisible walls + Max Speed = Unbelievably hilarious circumstances.

I always wonder why nobody does The World Is Not Enough in speedruns.

You can drop below the moving platform in the first part of the zone and, if you choose the correct path without falling into a hole along the way, sub-40 sec is rather easy.

Aitamen - My pick as TSC's newest rising star. If Psyknux is the Destroyer of Legendary Records, then there isn't a title fitting enough to document the scalps Aitamen has taken of late. On Sonic 2, he holds, among others, the Hill Top 1 Knuckles, CP1K, and AR2K records, all of which had stood for considerable lengths of time. Add to that his work on score attacking the game, and we have a real force to be reckoned with on our hands. If he acquires his own Sonic 2/3/Knuckles carts a new period of domination may begin...

I already think Aitamen is a total force to be reckoned with. Very impressive with the records.

4. Greham Adelphis (Just a guess...albeit a very massive one. I don't expect to get any of the others right anyway, so I might as well bomb myself out of the guessing list.)
3. F-Man
2. Douglas
1. Eredani (Not a doubt in my mind at all.)

Maybe I was a little too harsh. I call for only the records we know aren't obtainable to be retracted. Everything proven can be left in. Leave just enough to give him a positive legacy to counterbalance his negative legacy.

I also wish to call BS on his 180 on Angel Island 2 with Knuckles. There isn't even 100 rings on the level and the only way to get that would be to uncover a ring monitor after Act 1's boss fight, but hit it only after Act 2 starts, and even that won't give you even close to the alleged 180.

I also call for retraction of his records.

I'm still guessing Marth is on the list...though by now I would take flying guesses I'd be on there.
Congrats to PsyBorg, SS101, and sonicam.

(EDIT: As for the avatar, I've used it elsewhere, but it's there because of the lack of a better avatar.
