General Sonic / Labrynth Zone - My First Question
« on: October 07, 2005, 02:42:23 am »
Hello.

I don't know whether any of you guys will answer or not, but I wondered if any of you guys have any tips for Labrynth (and Scrap Brain). I can't seem to get anywhere near the times stated. Of course even if i did have any tips it would still take a while for me to get to that stage. Oh, and in case you haven't guessed, this is Sonic 1 for Mega Drive/Genesis.

I don't know whether this is in the right forum so please tell me if it should be in another.

General Sonic / What was the first sonic game you owned?

Well, if anybody read my introduction post you'd all know that Sonic The Hedgehog for Master System was the first one I owned, Mega Drive being the first one I played. I still remember going to Toys R Us and buying it... It must have been Christmas 1992 when I got my first Mega Drive (yep first) with Sonic 2, and then Sonic the Hedghog from my sister. I then got a Game Gear with Sonic 1, 2, and whenever Chaos came out. Gargh, I can't remember the order. All I know is that at somepoint or another I got all Sonic games on Mega Drive and Game Gear, sold my Master System (which i now wish i hadn't done). I got a Saturn and all the Sonic games, which I for some reason thought that selling it to get a playstation was a good idea, it sure wasn't though. I got a Dreamcast on the day it came out in UK (I live in UK btw) with SA. Loved it so much I had to be dragged away to go to school. I didn't like SA2 as much though. Then I end on SADX.

Hello.

As you can quite clearly see, my name is AdmiralJonB, well my user name at least :P. Before anyone asks, no I'm not an Admiral, just a dream of mine from when i was a kid which has long since changed.

I've been a fan of Sonic since 1991 when i borrowed my dad's colleagues mega drive and couldn't stop playing the game. Must've been 4 years old then... Ahh, the memories... Soon after I bought a Master System with Sonic 1 and discovered a glitch on my first go :P A year later... well... i'm sure you don't want to hear my sonic life story.

I've been looking at the time attacks for quite a few years on this site, very slowly i might add. I have to say I'm quite interested in trying to make my own one of all of Sonic Adventure one day, and SA2 as well. I'd love to be able to do the mega drive/genesis games but I don't think I'm skilled enough, then again who knows what happens over time. I still have my mega drive, i'm ashamed I sold my SMS but, I'll hopefully get another one soon. I have a Game Gear still, with the main sonic games but triple trouble, hopefully i'll unlock that on SA:DX sometime.

Anyway, nice to meet you all!
