Competition Central / Re: Emulator Proof Thread
« on: August 17, 2017, 11:29:04 am »
Hello Parax, I have a few questions regarding emulation rules:
So a lot of emulators tend to hover between 59 and 60 fps, staying at 60 80-90% of the time. How picky are you with this? Are you mostly looking for intentional lag?
Also, in terms of staying at 60 fps, what about areas of the game that lag badly in the original games?... (I'm thinking about section of Metropolis). Thanks!

Competition Central / Re: Glitchless IL and SS runs

I just thought I would post here as a second on someone that would love to potentially see glitchless categories on this site eventually. I find the glitchless routes really fun. Oil Ocean Act 2 is actually one of my favorite glitchless. Not that it will happen but just seconding and hoping that maybe one day to have a glitchless category. Thanks!

I was working on getting all emeralds in Sonic Mania, when this happened. Looks like the emerald just started going the wrong way, like it though Sonic was running the track backwards. Figure if people can reproduce it that it might have merit in a 100% speed run some day.
