If you're talking about the diagonal directions (Up-left, Up-right, Down-left, Down-right) It's common to note that the Dreamcast and GameCube both use a joystick to control with. I'm thinking that the reason why you're getting extra speed, is because of the inaccessible dead-zone you get from maximizing the inputs of both the vertical and horizontal directions, which you cannot achieve with a standard controller due to the nature of the circular joystick pad. This issue exists in Doom as well, where mixing two directions nets you bonus speed, because it doesn't account for the additional vertex movement.

If I did my math correctly, you should have 41.4% extra input direction at the corner than a perfect circle. This is comparing a square with width and length of 2 with a circle of diameter 2. The games were meant to be played on the console anyway, so I can see why this is an oversight. We do have a PC version though...

I've been asked repeatedly by my friend James to go get the game. I might get it it at some point. (In fact, he's here beside me and is INSISTING that I go get it when I get home)

I guess I could try it and play some single-player.

I was hoping I could spur you into remaking TUSC by doing all that Record Attack shit, you know. :<

James gave me all the low-down on the ranking board. I like how it looks, it could do with a little more graphics.

Sorry you're not feeling up to par. You will get back in it very soon, just stay forward-focused and get proper rest.

I have good experience in Sonic CD for many years, if that helps in the matter. I have also watched some TAS videos of it as well, as well as a few bugs in the game that seemingly require frame-by-frame reaction time.

I don't normally stream but I could if it's deemed necessary. I'm more excelled in Sonic CD if the time comes around, but will be willing to play many of the classic games. I have yet to improve on multiple games and could even have live improvement. I don't ever see anyone documenting their improvement in time attacking. I've been trying to learn how to speak and hear English words, too.

Sign me up, I will try my best to find a time to get on.

If I were to pick out a classic, it would have to be Hill Top Zone from Sonic 2. For the later games, it's a tie between Sweet Mountain from Sonic Colors and Crisis City from Sonic 06.

That tornado is carrying a car!

Hello, and welcome to The Sonic Center. I'm not sure there's very few TAS people out there. But you're welcome nonetheless. Meanwhile, why not stick around and do some time attacks of your own? Practice makes perfect.

Welcome to The Sonic Center. You're doing really well, I just checked your stats. Keep it up! I'm certain if you practice and keep at it, you'll certainly be a heavy competitor for multiple games. I too love the Sonic franchise; I've been a fan of it since I was a toddler. I'm unlike you however; I work on a game until I get something fathomable in it, before moving onto the next.

Please though, make your stay and enjoy yourself here.
