GH3: Why no bouncy bounce on the item boxes like the TAS does? Its not that hard.

I found it hard...

M1: You can get through the lava part much cleaner then that.

Yeah maybe it was a bit iffy, but i didn't think it was too bad.

sy1: A little sloppy as a whole

Maybe the odd one or two bits at the start were a bit 'sloppy', but i thought the rest was ok.

sy2: overly cautious

Humm, yeah i'd agree.

L1: Not sure what you were so slow at the end about.

Eh?

SL2: No shortcut?

Nah it's not in the spirit of the game :-P

sl3: work on your boss battle

Yeah i never liked his boss, i just did a decent-ish job and that'll do.

sb1: whats up with your route here?

I've been trying on and off to record 24. A new trick found by Upthorn saving about 1/10 of a second got me started again, my best attempt came in at 25 seconds and one measly frame.

But I will get it eventually! I promise!

I didn't know 24 seconds for GH1 was possible non tool assisted!

I'm not really up on the speedrun rules, so i'll explain what i've done.

It's all non tool assisted, but i did do it on an emulator. I don't really care about braking any records to be honest, i just made the vid as my tribute to a game which was my childhood, haha.

I played all the levels individually, and then eddited them together, each level is played non tool assisted, but it is not one run right through the game, which i should have mentioned befor proclaiming that i've beaten someone's time. Sorry i didn't really explain too well.

The total sum of all the acts is ... 16:29, but again, i didn't play them all in one go. So apologise to mike and his run, which i'm looking forward to watching. I really couldn't be botherd with a full run. lol.

May not be 'offical' but i hope it'll be a good watch. :)

Hello there. Posting for posting sake. My name's JT, love all the old sonic games, aka Gens games (or Megadrive as it's called here). My goal is to get the very first stage of Sonic 1 (Green hill act 1) down to 24 seconds, even though i'v been told is near impossible, i'll keep trying.
