The first two properties are always brown on all the British Monopoly boards I've seen :o

My mom went to England once and brought back a Monopoly game from there, and the first two properties are indeed brown on that one.

However, on the box, it says "ESTABLISHED IN 1936" whereas the American (Atlantic City) version was created in 1935, so I say purple takes precedence.

The original Monopoly board was in fact American, and I assume it was purple on that. Dunno why they changed it to brown for the Brit version though. I was just bringing it up because to me, having always played British monopoly, Old Kent Road and... er...that other... thingy... place... will always be brown. Besides, if you say purple to me it makes me think Park Lane and Mayfair, although they are a bluey-purple.

I thought I mentioned Metal Sonic somewhere in one of my posts. About Chaos 0, that was an oversight and is a much better idea than the Chaotix and Tikal.
