Aight here it is ladies and gents... the TSC Pokémon Tournament. Why? Why not. First things first, READ THE RULES, BITCHES:

- Species clause: No two Pokémon of the same species on any one team (set by NetBattle automatically).

- Sleep clause: No two Pokémon on any one team may be induced with Sleep (can be set in NetBattle, set by RSBot automatically).

- The same team of 6 Pokémon must be used throughout this competition. However, changes may be made to individual Pokémon's move sets, EVs and IVs in between rounds.

- No 00bers: Here are the disallowed Pokémon by this rule: Deoxys, Jirachi, Groudon, Kyogre, Latios, Latias, Rayquaza, Celebi, Ho-oh, Lugia, Mew, Mewtwo.

- Other Legendaries are restricted. A team may only have one out of these maximum: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Entei, Suicune, Raikou, Regirock, Regice, Registeel.

- Either RSBot or NetBattle may be used for each battle.

- After a battle the log must be sent to me in text file format. Contenders may battle each other more than once but for each scheduled battle I must recieve one log file. Once I have a log file for each battle the round will conclude. I will post the logs, winners and fixtures for the next round.

- The tournament will be either of a knock-out or league format, depending on the number of sign-ups.

- Stat doubling items may not be used (i.e. Light Ball on Pikachu, DeepSeaTooth/DeepSeaScale on Clamperl, Bone Club on Cubone or Marowak).

- If a contender does not respond within 3 days, their opponent will go to the next round by default.

Yeah, all Pokémon except the 00bers are allowed. I'll edit the first post with information on both RSBot and NetBattle. Also, if you haven't played RuSa, you need to get up to date with the stat system :P

Like before, stats are dynamic. They are worked out by a formula, rather than just adding a bit on at every level up. The formula has the following values:

Stat EXP has been changed to 'EVs' or 'Effort Values' which are gotten by fighting specific Pokémon... blah blah. You can have up to 255 EVs in any given stat, but you can have no more than 510 EVs overall. This means you can max out two stats, or whatever.

IVs are still around (but used to be more commonly known as DVs). But now instead of ranging from 0 to 15, they range from 0 to 31. On RSBot and Netbattle people only tend to change this if they want a specific Hidden Power.

Pokémon now have personalities. Each one increases a stat by 10% and decreases a stat by 10%. For some this will be the same stat, giving a null result.

And then there's the base stat for each Pokémon, which is a given.

Due to the way the stat formula is, every IV gains you 1 extra stat point at level 100 with a neutral personality. So a boost of 34.1 stat points is possible if you have full IVs and a positive personality. Every 4 EVs gains you 1 extra stat point as well, so there's no point in putting any more than 252 EVs in one stat (the extra 3 will go to waste). But no matter how you cut it, 2 EVs will go to waste.
