New Final Chase shortcut?

So I was just messing around and I stumbled upon this. Is this new? And if so,do you think this'll be useful at all?

I've done this before. Not particularly useful, considering that rails can give you momentum in several directions, including down, faster than you get at terminal velocity in freefall. Might be more useful if Shadow had a bounce bracelet, but he doesn't.

Ah, I figured that this had probably been found before. You're right that this might be more useful with a bounce bracelet,in fact I was going to try this with Sonic via Chao Key Glitch tomorrow to see just how useful it'd be. Thanks for clearing things up~
