This race will be held on Sunday 23rd June for Sonic's birthday. We decided to go with a S1-S3&K marathon since it just missed out in the last marathon vote. Emeralds will not be included in the goals and any goal that has Sonic in it, you may use Tails as well if you wish. The goals are:

1) Beat Sonic 2 as Sonic: 10
2) Beat Sonic 2 as Knuckles: 1
3) Beat Sonic 3 & Knuckles as Sonic: 9
4) Beat Sonic 3 & Knuckles as Tails
5) Beat Sonic 3 & Knuckles as Knuckles: 2

Voting will close on Sunday 23 June at 12pm EDT. The race will start at 5pm EDT as usually unless you guys want it changed. If you have any other goals you want up there, just say so.

i like 3 just because ive played it never did a full playthrough of sonic 2 lol but i guess i could do 1 as well 5 would be fun since it is different

could i request that the race starts an hour earlier? it will be about a 2 hour race, and i'd prefer not to be up till midnight lol, don't know how other racers feel though.

meh, i cant race if it's on a sunday evening >_> it would have to start at least by 4pm GMT for me to be able to race on that day, I know it's sonic's birthday and all, but can't it just stay on the usual day? The last special race was on the usual time, but I guess it's up to you guys anyway...

PS - I only just noticed that the race had been on a sunday, I'm not entirely sure when it was decided, I can only assume that it was decided when I was away.

The voting has closed and the goal is Sonic 1 as Sonic of course, Sonic 2 as Sonic (and Tails) and Sonic 3 and Knuckles as Sonic (and Tails). The race room will open around 3pm EDT, race starts at 4pm EDT.
