Help with Gens11a
« on: November 27, 2012, 05:00:10 am »
For some reason I seem to be having trouble recording from Gens11a recently. Obviously the .gmv works perfectly, but when I put it through vdub, in anri-chan the video is corrupt. The music is just static and the video is split into three parts. The bottom shows the level select, the left part of the screen shows the right part of the screen and vice versa. It's only like this for about a minute and then it's fine, but the beginning bit of the video is ruined. At first I thought my netbook probably couldn't handle .gmvs anymore, so I just recorded on my new PC and the exact same thing happened. Can anyone tell me how to sort this out? Would re-downloading Gens11a sort out the problem?

Edit: fixed the problem :D

why dont you use gens11a's inbuilt avi recording? that always works for me, then if you open the avi in windows movie maker and then save as a wmv then the file wont be too large and will upload to youtube faster :P
(I'm assuming that the gmvs worked fine when you played them without recording, but dont work when you did record

Yes I did use the avi built-in on gens11a and no I could never open it in wmm or VLC. I don't have a problem uploading as I have very good internet.
