There is this really pesky glitch in Sonic Rivals 2 Chaotic Inferno. This occurs in both race acts. The lava elevator (that thing where you mash X to go higher) sometimes glitches out, and once you reach the highest point, you might fall out the bottom. Are there any ways to avoid this glitch? It's interfering with my speed runs.

I do not ever remember encountering that glitch at all. Though if it had to be because of something to do with when you're mashing X and timing when you exit the lava elevator, placing you in it, which pushes you underneath. All i can suggest is be careful on timing your X presses.
