So as not to make a mistake like Heroes, I have started this topic so that you guys can discuss what games you would like to race in. From the previous weeks I would say S3&K and SA2B are a definite.

Default: Game has enough interest but has not been raced yet.
Green: Game has been raced, with the number of races in parentheses.
Orange: Game was intended to be raced, or has been raced, but due to little interest (i.e., 2 or less people), this game has been retired. Can be put back with more interest.
Blue: Game has notably received more interest since, and might be put in the rotation for a test run in the future.

**Special Races, including those that replace scheduled games, are not to be included here.

Sonic 1, 2 (GG) (not sure these would necessarily generate interest)
Sonic Heroes (If I had the game with me at the time - I don't currently)
Sonic Unleashed Wii (If I have game with me)
Sonic Colours (If I have game with me)
Sonic and the Secret Rings (If I have game with me - I don't think it will be very good for racing anyway)
Sonic 3D Blast
Sonic Chaos (I think it would be great fun but I'd imagine lack of interest)
Sonic Rush (DS streaming is an issue of course)
Sonic Rush Adventure (Ditto)

I honestly didn't even know there was a Sonic 2 race night. Promotion is an important thing...

In any case I'd race Sonic 1, 2, 3&K, CD, Adventure, Adventure 2.

I might try some of the advance games or a random one for fun. But otherwise these are pretty much sure bets with me.

I also want to get the idea for romhacks out. Stuff like Amy in Sonic 1 is golden.

Actually I did say that race nights was taken off for a week and there was no official race. A bunch of people just got together to race on that day. That's what I heard anyway.

Yeah tell me if you want any hacks played as well. I wouldn't mind seeing some S1 tails and knuckles going.

not sure if it even needs to be said, but for what it's worth i'm willing to race anything. i also think sonic 06 is definitely worth a try at some point, since as ppl said before it got a shit ton of views in the marathon. people love to hate that game.

i think consistency might bring up interest more over time anyway. once other people start catching on to the fact that some guys are racing a random sonic game every week i think it will gradually pull in more people even on the more obscure games. it might be wise to stick to the more tried and true games at the start til people start catching on and becoming interested

It was one where we decided that it was on one day before it happened, then decided to do Sonic 2 15 minutes before it happened. It was just testing out Umbreon's idea of late-in-the-day game choosing, which proved to be chaotic. It's clearly been accepted into canon TSC Race Night history because the Sonic Advance thread is labelled 2D Race Night 3!

Nothing's an obvious shoe-in here aside from the Genesis games and the two Adventures. I'm positive there's more interest than this for a couple of these games, so cmon, more people need to post their race preferences.

Ok, so I apologize in advance, as some of this post is scattered everywhere.
First, I was thinking of doing a race Saturday night, then a race Sunday afternoon. This js more convenient for others.
Second, I came up with an Unleashed goal. We'd race all Day(as night would be a pain) stages, and EggmanLand. We start from a file that should be either maxed or close in terms of experience for Day Sonic, so it would be more fair.
Third, I think that we should try to make rankings, but not like TRN247. Just make a board that posts the results, and the rankings since for sure we will race them again.
Fourth, continue using the edit the first page thing for promoting race nights.
That's my post. Some of this is a tad off topic and I apologize.

First, no. IMO we're bordering on doing race night too often as it is and that way leaves like no room for promotion or cooldown.

Second, yes, that's a good goal, it's been brought up before.

Third, we don't need rankings. Race Night is "show up and have fun", not hardcore competition. All race results are automatically tracked on SRL anyway.

Like what? I only played Tails and Knuckles in Sonic 1 so far.

Edit: I guess it doesn't really matter we can make choosing the character as part of the goal anyway.

Yeah, we can. I was thinking mainly of those two, but there is also Amy in Sonic 1. It is now official that TSC loves Amy, so yeah. There are probably more of those hacks that I don't know as well.
