Here are some things you should know about Race Nights, so that you understand how it works:

1) If you don't see a game in this list but would like it added, please either talk to me or HyperSonic about it or discuss the matter in this topic.

2) If you want to know what games will be in upcoming Race Nights, the current schedule will be stickied on the Race Nights forum. Beyond the current schedule, however, the answer is generally either sometime in the future, it happened already, or it won't happen this year, depending on the game you're asking about.

3) We will be alternating between 2D and 3D games every week and racing a hack/fangame on the last week of the month.

4) You may race on any version of the game on either console or emulator, unless otherwise specified. Streaming is highly recommended but not outright required, except as outlined in the SRL FAQ (see #8).

5) We will always be starting on a new file when racing, unless otherwise specified.

6) If a goal isn't stated in a race topic by Saturday 11am EDT, then the mods will reach a decision by the time the race room opens.

7) Every race will be on a Saturday at 4pm EDT, with the exception of some Special Races, which may be on different days and/or start at a different time for a good reason.

8) All races will be held at the SpeedRunsLive IRC channel. Please go here to read up on SRL's rules, if you're not familiar with them. The FAQ will also go over the basics of SRL if you're new to that.

9) The race room will be created one hour before the race starts. If you're not there by the time the race starts, you won't be racing. There can be times where the race will be delayed for a short period of time if there is a very good reason; however, in the vast majority of cases, if you are not ready by at least ~10 minutes after scheduled start, you will be kicked out of the race by an SRL voice, halfop, or op. No general exceptions will be granted.

10) If you are interested in joining the Race Nights Skype group, read these rules to find out how to join (and stay) in the Skype group.

Have fun :D
