I never got to play s3 much as a kid, so its still a very new game to me. I was working on stats, but got stuck in Carnival Night 1, frustrating...

Well, I'm likely going to keep trying to improve my stats for another year or so, and if any developments in the game occur then I would definitely continue to compete. So good luck.

So yeah guys, let's discuss general Sonic 3 stuff.

I love how precise I have to jump sometimes while going uphill to go as fast as I can. Adds a ton of more skill to the game which you just lost.
Anyone wanna ask any questions about S3?!

Bah, this isn't the right way to get a championship, I think... As a capoeira fighter, I like a good challenge.

I'll keep my efforts to get the best time chart in S3 so, don't think you'll have peace too easily, SB...

I had already thought about playing Sonic 3 more often and submitting stats. But I've seen some giz's of Spindashmaster, and I actually can't believe you beat him in every ring record.
I might start competing on it sometime but I don't think I'll be very good.

most of SDMs ring records were already perfect, so he didn't beat him in every one, only a few. he just tied him on the rest.

I only beat him on 2 levels in Rings, and he can at any point re-do those RA's (he simply missed a large ring) to tie them again. There are two RA's I still need to re-do, however.

By the way, you guys should bug me on IRC over the weekend to record CN2-S.
It's going to be extremely difficult to get a good run recorded. I might be satisfied with like 1:52, actually. So much opportunity for error -_-

As you know, I don't have a computer so, I can't use gens to see the gizes... I play only on my Genesis console. :P

I can't view the files that eredani has on my gens emulator. They are gmzs. Anyone know how to view them?

Why don't I compete? Because I have a lot fo trouble against som many of the bosses. s3 pushed the boss difficulty up a few notches from s2. Take Ice Cap 1. Theres really no time to react to the ice blasts, and there is no pattern to if its sideways or down...

If I can't beat bosses at all, not like I can do RA or SA either. There's always time attack though!

Because I don't have enough money to get one :( ... I always post my stats from a cybercafe or from my aunt's house. But I'll start my new job next week so, hopefully I'll get a computer (and a Mega CD for the Sonic CD competition- be ready, maggot!)soon...

uh... what are you talking about?

the icecap 1 boss is easy as pie especially as sonic. and everything he does is on a pattern.

and no s3 boss can compare to the metropolis boss. even the grabby guy at the end is easy in comparison.
