Offline Events:

Record a .giz (read this topic if you need help on recording a .giz) and send it via PM to Strong Bad, Omega Knuckles, or Nicholas Onimura here on the TSC forums with a link to a .giz included (YouSendIt, Fileden, MegaUpload, etc.). The deadline is this Saturday at 11:59 PM, CST.

All TSC Submission Rules apply.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (& Knuckles):

Event 1:
Times Challenge
Using Sonic 2 & Knuckles, finish Emerald Hill Zone Act 1 as quickly as you can without using the directional buttons. In the event of a tie, Score and then Rings will be used to determine placing.

Event 2:
Ring Challenge
In Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (not & Knuckles), collect as many rings as you can in Metropolis Zone Act 2 and then finish the act. In the event of a tie, Score and then Time will be used to determine placing.

Event 3:
Score Challenge
Get the highest score you can in Sonic 2 & Knuckles' Emerald Hill Zone Act 1. Ties will be broken by time.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles:

Event 1:
Time Challenge
Complete Mushroom Hill Zone Act 2 using Knuckles as quickly as you can. In the event of a tie, Score and then Rings will be used to determine placing.

Event 2:
Score Challenge
Get the highest score you can in Hydrocity Zone Act 1 using Knuckles. Ties will be broken by time.

Event 3:
Rings Challenge
With Sonic, collect as many rings as you can in Sky Sanctuary Zone and then finish the Act. In the event of a tie, Score and then Time will be used to determine placing.

Event 4:
Time Attack Challenge
In Time Attack Mode, finish Chrome Gadget as quickly as you can. You may use any character. You must use Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

Thorn EDIT: For you non-TSC natives... welcome! Or something. In any case, when you're done with your tournament runs, click the word "Submissions" to your left and add it to our charts for posterity and to compare your stats to those of others (do it after the deadline, though, or we'll know how good to do to beat you). While you're at it, stay around and submit for other games too. It's pretty clear that the cross-site business was meant to rile up some activity in both forums, so why not play along?

I am disqualifying myself from Event 2 of Sonic 3 & Knuckles because otherwise it's not fair.
Any objections? No? k~

S3&K

Event 1:
1: FuzZerd (1:02, 19800, 82 rings) [TSC]
2: blueblazer_8 (1:03, 11500, 0 rings) [TSC]

Event 2:
1: FuzZerd (84900, 8:53) [TSC]
2: Strong Bad (56200, 0:59) [SCD]
Yeah, I know I disqualified myself from this, but since I saw that FuzZerd was the only one who submitted by around 11 PM, I decided to just submit a sub-1 minute run. I figured it wouldn't damage the integrity of the results at all, and it didn't. Lol.

Event 3:
1: FuzZerd (259 rings, 30600, 5:00) [TSC]
2: Strong Bad (259 rings, 30200, 7:48) [SCD]
3: blueblazer_8 (259 rings, 29900, 6:08) [SCD]

Event 4:

2: FuzZerd (0'28"30) [TSC]
3: MysteryMan (0'42"38) [SCD]

If anyone submitted something and they weren't counted because I'm dumb and missed them, then please post.
EDIT: Will do a full tally of TSC and SCD points tonight.

Full results!?

Last Place gets 1 point, every place above that gets 1 point per place. Ties will both get the points of the place below them. This is to give weight to the events with more participants, rather than event 2 of S3&K having the same impact on the end result as the S3&K Online tourney.

overall a fun event, but very disappointed at the tournouts. Two people for an event? lol.... oh well. SCD wins... more people should participate.

Well I suppose there's no excuse for my absence (Unless traveling with no available Wi-Fi counts), not that I would've been much of a presence in the Tournament. This vacation's been taking a lot out of me. Well good job on both sides, I seen some results I thought not possible initially(that goddamn S2&K light-bluish type event I attempted for one).
