In this video of Jawzun's...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HhivKK_jh0&feature=fvsr

How does he do the following:

1) The big jump at 00:29? I repeatedly try it and can't do it.

2) How did he do the large jump to the rocket?

Thankyou in advance :D

While I don't speed run Sonic Adventure 2 often, I'm pretty positive that those large leaps occur when you spindash into a jump and immediately bounce so that you hit the ground just in front of a wall. Somebody else might be able to give more detail than that.
<RPGnutter> Well I think your reasoning was dumb, so you get sassed
<RPGnutter> Thats how it works

It's called the superbounce. As Thorn said it is performed by spindashing into a wall and immediatly jumping and bouncing at the same time once you hit the wall.

Championships: Sonic Unleashed DLC.

Well, you should actually jump and bounce right before you hit the wall. But otherwise that was correct.

The faster you are going when you hit a wall after a bounce attack, the higher you go.  A spindash isn't necessary, but is almost always the best way to get a lot of speed.
