Your type of RA: the puzzle or the trick?
« on: September 19, 2008, 05:02:36 pm »
So, what's your favorite RA? The ones that are complex logically, but can be done with no glitches, or ones that require ridiculous bug exploits and tricks?

My favorites are the puzzles, but I'm a poll holder, so I'm not voting. :P

Glitch ones they make them very fun and ones like Lost World Knuckles you go all the way to Sonic's part which is awesome. :D

Probably, my favorite RA in all of Sonic is Crazy Gadget 5 (which is even more fun using the dreamcast strategy...which I've done on gamecube but nets no more rings on that version). That level requires so much strategy, interesting tricks, and things you have probably never thought possible.

Edit: I'd call it a puzzle level, although its both puzzle and glitches combined (which is part of the reason its so awesome).

depends if I have to figure out said trick and glitches or not >_>

but wouldn't it be a puzzle in itself figuring out whatever trick was needed to obtain certain rings?
my name has nothing to do with Shadow The Hedgehog

Definitely glitches. I hate having to plan everything out.

My foul flans --er, plans-- are ruined every time.

But I'm not much of a RAer

I hate bugs in a RA really. Some are more or less well known, and some can be logically deduced if you know a little about the game engine, but sometimes you're just reduced to trying stupid stuff in hopes of finding stuff so stupid that the game can't deal with it and produces a glitch.

None of them. I like the ones on luck based with random ring boxes. :D
still can't believe what I did in 2007

Well, I haven't actually played the later Sonic games, so I wouldn't know. :P
