-It's open to everyone 13 years or older.
-It will be at 9PM on Saturday, March 8th.
-It will lead into a Midnight release.
-As far as I can tell, it's starter characters only.
-I believe it's 1v1.
-The winner of the stores goes to district level, then regional, then national.

I got this info from a store employee.  I'd recommend calling your nearest Gamestops and seeing if they are having a tournament if you're serious about this. 

I want to attend myself regardless of the attendance.

Don't worry, it sucked hard.  Random characters, items on, Wiimote Nunchuck. Only good thing is that it was on Battlefield.

Actaully...Pikachu is quite good in SSBB. He's easily got a chance against Fox.  SSBB is actaully pretty balanced.  Fox is no longer what he was.  He's nerfed a bit, but it's more that everyone else was made better. Luigi and Ness...Kirby...several characters got massive buffs.
