I hope you're being sarcastic about the frame rate thing :(
As for award votes-
2D Player of the Year - This is quite an open category. stanski 0-scored Sonic 2 in February, eredani continues to prove he's a master 2D time attacker from Sonic 3 & Knuckles to Triple Trouble to Advance, smizzla obtains both Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles at once in December, SDM has Sonic 3 rings just about 0 scored, Judgement and douglas continue to battle over Advance 2, and with taking the score/rings divisons in Sonic Advance, Zeupar booted Nintendan's Advance reign into the past. Anyone else I didn't mention, while they may be good, they didn't quite do anything "new," persay. My vote lies to an intense tournament of coin-flips, and it just so happens that smizzla came out on top.
3D Player of the Year - Jawzun is a clear candidate candidate, but so is Shadow Jacky. Both have obtained a championship this year, and yoshifan also took Sonic Adventure 2 times this year. Stefan also stole SSR times from me >:O But I think out of these choices, Shadow Jacky has performed the most admirably in the 3D realm, with his prowess in Sonic Adventure 2 and Heroes (and Shadow and SSR).
Overall Player of the Year - Lets see... Who has done the most exceptional job at cross-platform Sonic gaming? Thorn and mike are the obvious candidates. Da1's swimming about in all of his crappy platinums (:P), and SJ and yoshifan have continued to compete on various fronts affecting a multitude of games. Out of these choices though, I have to give my vote to yoshifan because he's proven throughout the entire year that he is a swiss army knife for Sonic games, in that he has shown time and time again can do anything and get anywhere, and has the strategies and skill to prove it.
Rookie of the Year - Da1's an obvious candidate, but he's merely the best at the worst. :P However, he basically has no competition for this category at all seeing as he's done a good job at inventing ways to keep his platinums. sdj6707's done a good job (0:24 GH1!) but he hasn't innovated on the scale that Da1's done. Therefore, my vote goes to Da1AndOnlySonic.
Comeback of the Year: Well, FoxLuc submitted recently... That's all the comebacks I can think of. >_> <_< I'm not sure how blazest counts as a comeback if the registration was in September 2007 of this year, unless this person was someone else of course. Can someone clarify more clearly? Edit: Now that it makes more sense, I vote blazest seeing as he's mauled a good portion of SA2.
Fallout of the Year: Well lets see. There's the wtfAitamen thing... I wouldn't nominate RPG because he has actually competed this year on a few fronts (Sonic 06, SRA, half of the tourney being examples). It seems as if Nintendan hasn't been around in ages, Crowbar hasn't submitted a single stat for SRA yet (not even his PK1 stat on the official charts)... F-Man also hasn't competed in ages either. He still has a shot at taking Sonic Adventure back if he just submits stats for single lap races, but he hasn't done that yet... But it's not like he or Crowbar actually left. Out of the two that are left out of the four I can think of, I would say Aitamen was more surprising, but if banned users don't count, I'd vote Nintendan.
Video of the Year: Hard to say, really. Tons of fun tricks were born this year in all kinds of games, like 0:11 Scrap Brain 3 and SadisticMystic's Eternal Engine 1 video is pretty lol as well. Those videos don't really keep the person at the edge of their seat though, so it's hard to say... I will have to do more than 10 minutes of research for this.
