Heh, I guess you don't actually hafta DL the pics if they show in the forum when I attach them.  Just sit in front of your computer and draw them.  For the Tails pic below, you'll need kinda guess at the size of the boots, since the white ran over.  Same thing for the other character's fists, but those only take a few pixels.

I have a bunch I made on my Photobucket account, but most of them cutoff at edges and probably wouldn't look very good as actual decals, since I made them all before I actually owned the game or new how decals were displayed. Maybe a 1 pixel border would improve these. A couple are small Advance sprites that fit and work quite well, though.

^The SAdv3 and Battle sprites that are mostly just heads would actually look pretty good as decals, since the cut-off almost looks intentional.  I don't think the same could be said for the S3&K sprites that are missing, say, half a boot or a head.  Makes me wish I'd had VBA, so I could've had access to decals like that ages ago.

I suppose we'll end up applying a small logo to our emblems to stand out as TSC members, or voting on one for a standard.  If the latter, may I just say that the first Shadow, Knux, and Chaos pics on your site get my votes, as well as my heads for simplicity's sake.

EDIT: Brief thought: perhaps, with the more simplistic emblems, multiple users could use different colors?  I know those with alike MK:DS and TSC names would be able to tell each other apart, but I figured putting a small pic of your colored emblem in your sig/avatar here would make it really easy to tell who you are on MK:DS.  And re-coloring only takes a minute or two, so it wouldn't be a real hassle.

I changed my emblem to the Eggman one.  I added "TSC" in blue near the bottom right corner.

And after looking at Crowbar's designs, the first Shadow one looks cool.

Don't standardise emblems. That stifles creativity. But if we want to show pride in TSC, we can always write "TSC". At an amazing 14 pixels, you can't afford not to make it part of your emblem!

And also, I've been thinking. Would we be pro the idea of a MKDS tourney? It seems like we'd have enough players and regular users to pull off. I don't want to rush into it without general approval.

Oh and while I'm on the topic of suggesting things, how about a forum specifically for online gaming? Genius. I know.

Don't see why not.  My only concern is that we'd really hafta have more than two people per match.  I've seen it many times, and just last night when you and Sprint fell behind simultaneously on Rainbow Road: two people per match turns into a competition of who can play mind games with the other person to get the better item at the last ?s.

Oh, and I forgot one thing.  If we have a tourney, we all know who's gonna win, right?

^I sure as hell don't.  I've never played you, I only played Psyborg and Joe once, never played Rolk or BenB17... I'd like to, obviously.  No idea how good you guys are.

I'll tell you what, playing genus and Sprint has made me a better snaker in less than 24 hours.  I was looking at Rainbow Road quality snaking when I went in the zone.  I feel like I could go and get three stars now, thanks guys.

Trust me, I'm really good.  I've faced genus and Sprint as well, and they weren't nearly a match for me (in fact, only one person was slightly better than me).  I can snake consistantly on every track (Choco Island 2, though, is a super pain, though, since when I raced them there, I snaked into a piranha plant on laps 2 and 3 in the muddy area), especially Rainbow Road.

^I'll believe it when I see it.  I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if you blow me away, but there's been so much skepticism on the forums lately that I think I'll join the trend.  Sprint, genus, I, and yse all had moments where we left the pack in the dust, but items changed that around really fast.

Well, we should race each other one day.  And a 4-player race on Baby Park, where all people snake... that's utter chaos!  There, it's how lucky you get with getting and avoiding items.

Two players almost always resort to who gets the better items. OUT.

Three players are just dumb. OUT.

Four players are completely random. OUT.

...hey wait a sec.

Well I'll think of something.

Also, when you're facing people who are actually good, you tend to get better. In other words groudon, I doubt that I'll have to keep finishing in second behind you.

...was I just burned?  I just don't think it should always be us coming to a stop and moving inches at a time every time the last lap rolls around.  Dude, if you have an opinion, voice it, I'd be happy to agree if you've got support.  I'm probably just spouting fumes, I know.  I know we can't have no two-player matches.

Nah, I'm realising that none of these are good for competitive play. The problem, of course, is to find the one which is best for competitive play. Post opinions in the topic.

Oh and yeah, only time will tell. But why not join the chatroom? We might have enough people for a 4 player.

Blah. Somebody deleted my MKDS data so now that I'm back at an acceptable level, I connected to WFC only to find I needed to generate a new friend code.

So here: 339416-197132

Adding everyone else again momentarily.

EDIT: on a random note, I was messing around on the friend code select screen trying to find a random, when lo and behold, I found one!

So everyone add this code: 158654-532300 Don't add this code, it was what was keeping me off wifi for a couple of weeks!
