Help on S3K
« on: October 21, 2007, 02:26:47 am »
OK, I'm stuck on Carnival Night 2. As you can see from this map here, there are 2 separate paths. I keep taking the top one, and albeit being able to become Super Sonic (with Tails still tagging along) I can't push that spinning block down far enough to get through before getting a nice Time Over screen. When I try to take the lower (and faster) path however, I can't get into it. It's a lose-lose situation and I need help. Please?

* JDGA is hoping that he doesn't need to be corrected for the third time on the use of HTML code

P.S. If I do need correction, it's 10 quiz_mode points to whoever answers first, and another 10 for my main predicament.

FAIL.

Psst, to get past the spinning block, press Up when it goes up, and Down when it goes down.

I think I know what you're talking about. The bane of the ignorant. It's simple. When you press down, you force it down. When it goes up, you press up. Down, up, down, up, down, up...

Also, I use

Oh. I thought you had to jump to make it go. And I couldn't get the timing exactly right.
And thanks for that.

I was stuck hours in that damn spinning block, but fortunately I finally figured out how it worked. I know many people who were stuck as well. I even know a great Sonic site with a whole main section dedicated to that block. lol

Ergo Sonic Team fails. <_<

P.S.: one hundred posts. :O
Fail collection: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

OK, Quartz gets 5 points (half cut off for complaining) and GerbilSoft gets 5 points (half cut off for being a pain with the 72pp FAIL)
EDIT: Quickly changed 96 to 72 before GS could start being a bigger pain.
