However, from the looks of things you aren't able to battle head to head, but rather an ai controls the team of someone on your friends' list for battle in game, much like DP's battle tower. I don't think you can breed either.

In other words the online sucks balls.

You download a rivals team to battle. Whether or not there is online breeding idk. I hope so, but I won't be crushed or anything if they don't, because I know all the good breeds and how to get them easily anyway >_>
