-Either the 40-year old, or it could also be Bridget, one of the creepiest characters ever. A cookie to who gets the reference. What does asl stand for? BTW, don't be so surprised. The amount of women as gamers is increasing. That rule would apply to something like War Hammer 40k, although that might not be true either since the person who taught me how to use the Imperial Guard drop troops tactic is a woman.

Also imo there's as much stigma attached to 1) paying for the service, and 2) AIM (original home of teh tlk liek dis krew) as to the browser. But hey, I learned my lesson way back in '95; AOL were my first ever provider when my dad limited us to half an hour a month. Easy to judge now I'm an intarweb pro I guess :)
