Ok, I corrected the one typo on the score sheet. The only one. Which is no longer there. You can ignore it.

And RPG, I am sad to say that it does not look like you will be in the next round. Or the round after that. Or the round after that. Or the round after that. Or the round after that.

But hey, such is life.

Oh and Mike, tables are ugly with 3 columns. I'm looking at your table and seeing a lot of arbitrary information. Therefore the score is win for simplicity I say.

On another note, SDM and I have completely worked out the structure of the tournament and thrown in some nasty surprises for everyone. Or rather, everyone involved when the surprises begin to take place. And let's just say that you had better be popular with everyone else, lest you be, say, shot or exploded, or any other kind of nasty punishments. Of course, this is the least of your worries.

2 wins for each of us. That puts Psyborg ahead of genus by a win going into the final round. And if Turbos doesn't show, then genus is locked out of first at the end of R1.

I just talked to Turbos, and the top of his DS cracked. This is the exact dialogue, or rather the part of it that matters:

Seriously, MKDS is all about items and luck, or rather making items and luck a non-issue. How many times have you gotten a mushroom at the right time? Yeah. Sky Garden. I went there. That people item rape you says to me that you can't avoid items. You're complaining about how Thorn blue shelled you. Learn to blue shell dodge. You're complaining about Red Shells. Learn more evasive tactics than just dropping a bannana/firing a shell. The only item in MKDS that can't be dodged is the Lightning. But I don't see any victories coming from that one.

...seriously, dude, give it a rest with the items. Howzabout, instead of egg1-ing it the whole time, you try a standard kart, Yoshi's or Dry Bones', that can snake AND has a 66% item stat? Items usually hate me, I couldn't believe I pulled three blue shells out of my ass. When not snaking for glory, I use Standard DB, for aforementioned reasons.

PsyBorg, you're not out of it just because you're not good in a few courses. Almost everyone here has problems with these courses. Though personally I only have issue with DK Pass but hey.

Which is why I open the forum to discussion.

Was anyone surprised by what happened in Round 1? Anyone have anything they want to predict in terms of future player standing?

Oh, and want to take a crack at what I've got planned for you guys?

Personally, I'm proud of what I've set up. It will shock you all into submission. I want to know what you guys think I'm implimenting.

Time to say what surprised me.

Groudon not doing that well. Myself not doing that well. PsyBorg doing well.

What I think will happen.

Mike gets eliminated, I do well, Thorn does so-so, PsyBorg surprises me again, Groudon also does well.

What I think will be done in the tourney.
