Should times for Angel Island Act 2 be submitted using the level select code, or "run on" from Act 1? I ask because using the code means you don't have to do a bit at the start of the level, so you can get a faster time. What about for other levels where your starting position changes depending on whether you use the code or not (I think Hydrocity 2 is another one)?

Also, does it matter if you're using Sonic 3/Sonic and Knuckles alone, or can you use them together? Any major changes between the alone and combined versions?

I think the consensus is that you can do it any way you want, but if you do it the slow way you're dumb. :P The only major difference I remember with S3&K is the Launch Base boss and the Mushroom Hill beginning.

Yay, provided its not abused as I've shown it can be.

Conversely, you could just die before hitting a checkpoint and you will revert back to where you would from level select anyway...
