I've got two questions about sonic CD and sonic 3D:

scd: is it allowed to play with the european version since time pass more slowly with this version?

s3D: can we give rings to knuckles and tails to win more points in the score of the level, but without win any points with the special stage of course !? Like this, we can collect the rings again and win even more points, but I don't know if it's authorized.

S3D: No you cant.

SCD: ....there's a difference between the versions?

S3D is currently under discussion.  It'll probably end up such that Tails, Knuckles, and special stages aren't allowed.

SCD does play 20% slower in PAL, just like their Mega Drive games, but since it's an official release with no apparent differences otherwise, you can use it.

Whoa, that's a pretty big advantage. That means only Europeans can attain perfection in the Mega Drive games and Sonic CD. :o Or unless you use a EUR ROM.

I don't think there is this problem for all roms, but i notice it in sonic CD's special stage. I was trying to make good times by watching sprintgod's videos, but even by taking the same course, I wasn't able to make the same time, because he uses the european version ( i'm almost sure ) and it's slower.
