Yes it does :(

It made me realise that I remember when the Spice Girls were all the rage and then I felt even older :(

I still have their CD somewhere . . . it needs burned methinks.

Never bought a Dreamcast myself, I couldn't help but think "it's another Saturn".  I was still gutted to see Sega go out of the console market though.
This topic has now been officially won by me.  Never mind, you might do better next time!

Even though it was my first Sega system (originally bought for RE Code Veronica and MvC2, from all of the good games the DC had, I believed that it had at least an additional year left in terms of being a viable system. I also remember when the Spice Girls were all the rage. *Starts feeling really old and gives self the title "Ancient Fossil."*
Ever know what its like to get pwned by a book? Sonic certainly does.

Heck, it makes me feel old not because I remember having one. In fact, it was because I remember not having one, and wanting one.

However, I more prominently remember wanting a Saturn, and seeing footage of Sonic Jam. That's because videogames were more mainstream here then, so some arbitrary show about videogames might have shown footage on TV. During Dreamcast days, I didn't know what a Sonic Adventure was. D:

In conclusion, I feel even older, despite being younger. Er... win?

I just recently bought my DC for $10 at a thrift store. Then I had to go to a game shop and buy the cord to hook it up for as much as the DC cost =)

I've never owned a Dreamcast and I've only played it like once, when the Dreamcast was new, I remember playing Sonic Adventure on it and I seriously sucked, died so many times at Emerald Coast, ah, the good ol' naive days. I so miss them... :/

EDIT: Also, I remember the Spice Girls, they were trash. :(

I used to think the Dreamcast was the best. Although, I didn't get to buying one until just after SEGA discontinued it. I played Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 and Space Channel 5 on it. I actually went through three Dreamcasts because they kept on breaking down. I just got rid of my last one later in 2005 after it started resetting not long after starting a game. I figured that was it for me.

By the way, I know what you guys mean by feeling old. I was born in January of '86 and I still remember how much of a Spice Girls fan I was.

I played SA at the store when it was new, but because I didn't play much
(and didn't get very familiar with the game), it feels like it was a long time ago.
That's good, because there are already a lot of things that make me feel old. :(
(I've already had a GameCube and Vexx for... over 2 years???
Maybe it's fall now, and I got them last winter. Yeah, that must be it.
Also, I probably got SADX last spring. That's right... not so long ago!
Wait... but it was for my birthday in fall, so...)

EDIT: "long live Dreamcast"? How can it live long if it's dead?
Maybe you should say "long live GameCube", because it could be considered
the next system for SEGA. (You have to choose one of the 3 systems, right?
Well, maybe it could be... "long live - ".)

More like play on "The king is dead, long live the king!" which is from something that I don't know but I've heard it before.

It doesn't matter now what happens, I will never give up the fight! There is no way I will run away from all of my frights... long as the voice inside me says 'Go!' I will always keep on running! There is no way to stop me from going to the very top~"*SHOT*

Which one? SA or SA2?

The one from SA pwns in my opinion, but both are good. I downloaded it last week and listen to it quite often I must say... though I'd like to know where to get the SA2 version as well.

It's been around a long time!. Tho in this case, it's long live Dreamcast because the Japanese are STILL trickling out the occasional commercial release for the system. Video game systems in general can cling to life a lot longer there; NOJ kept making the SNES until 2003.

I always thought "It Doesn't Matter" sucked ass. Matter in fact, I hated all of Sonic's themes, SADX, SA2B and SH's (I forgot if SADX and SA2B Sonic theme were the same...). The only themes that I actually like are SADX's Knuckles' Theme, Rouge's theme, Gamma's Theme and Team Dark's theme.
Chaos Emeralds: Yellow, Red, Green, Blue and Purple.
Keys: Light Blue.

Sonic's themes for SADX and SA2B have the same lyrics, but the music was completely rewritten for SA2B.

Which is good, because the SA2B one pwns the SADX one. :D

Fixed.

Generally speaking, SA(DX) themes > SA2(B) themes.

I was just saying, as you seemed to be implying that the phrase was a movie or play quote of some kind, that it is from the real world. Like for as long as monarchy has existed.

Also Rolk maybe SNES lasted longer in Japan because it wasn't your ugly-ass American version amirite.

Okay, I'd forgotten that a few DCs are still being made.

I'm pretty sure "Long live the king!" is referring to the new king.
(King #1 is dead! Long live King #2!)
(In this case, it's referring to GC, or the few DCs that are still coming.)
